Re: Puma board for FreeEMS
JHarvey, I'm not sure if Marcos mentioned this elsewhere, but the thermocouple chip outputs chip/board/ambient temp when nothing is attached to it! So, you have your temporary temperature in this design, at least, anyway :-) Fred. No, it doesn't. The AD597 has a 0V output with nothing connected to ...

Re: Bench Testing Code (outputs, math and injectors)
I have seen people monitor the current to the injector (which I kinda like - you can actually SEE the pintle stop moving). Dynamic flow is no way related to this trick (or the knock sensor zip-tie trick). I spent some time on my own injector flowbench to prove it to a co-worker. Check this link for...

Re: In what state do you want your Puma board sent? Comments
If there is enough demand for options 2 and 3, I could offer the service of getting the components, assembling them and programming the CPU. For this to make sense, there would need to be at least 10 people interested so that I can get some small quantity discount on the parts and I would need to ge...

If my board is not needed as a spare, option 1.

Re: Puma board (spin 1)
If someone wants a board he can have mine. Since it would never go on a car and may not even be assembled for a while, it might be more useful for someone else.

Joel,
It's nice to know that it's working well for you but what would be nicer would be to know what else you tried and what results you had with those.

Re: reasons not to liscence the MS design?
The licensing fees are low but they may not give you their agreement if they think your product will compete directly with one of their offerings or if they don't see big enough differentiators. But I haven't directly talked to them about this so this is inferred from other discussions. I know that ...

Re: MS forums, shenanigans
Actually, that's not quite true. I have the privilege of having all of my posts on msefi and the microsquirt forum moderated personally by Lance (and mostly deleted). But I'm a special case (and so are other MS/Extra developers)...toalan wrote:Glad to hear that MS only does big brother on newbie members.

Re: MS forums, shenanigans
As far as I know this is only for the first few posts and I don't think this is the case on the msextra forum but I may be wrong. I actually had to do the same thing on my forum due to the number of spammers. I have even considered preventing people with Chinese addresses from registering since none...
