Re: Why 16BIT? Why Not 32BIT?

I didn't have a processor in mind and I have nothing against using a 16bit. I just thought I would post the question to see peoples thoughts on the topic.

Cheers

Daniel.

Why 16BIT? Why Not 32BIT?

As per the title. The aim of FreeEMS is to make a high performance EMS so was it ever considered to go to a 32bit controller? I understand that cost may have been a factor but are there any other reasons?

Cheers

Daniel

Re: 1989 Ford Courier - FE-DOHC Turbo conversion (DSL beware!)

Thats a nice ute. I thought it was funny when I saw the first photo of a ute with semi race rubber :?: , then you scoll down and see why!

Did you do all the fab work yourself? It looks great. I hope that tray is heavy as you will need all the weight you can get over the rear wheels.

Re: possibly pursuing a wideband o2 controller

I think Admin pretty much covered it.

Should be Compact, simple and Cheap.
Accurate.
Optional display (colored led bar graph or digital dispay)
Configurable analogue outputs.
serial connection.
Etc.
