Re: #10 Peter's 2002 Honda Accord
interesting setup... Can you share some details, such as: 1. how are you controlling the turbos... they are sequential, right ? can we have more pics of the exhaust manifolds (showing all the plumbing to the turbos), and also the intake side of the turbos ? 2. modern 3.5L v6 with boost... what sort ...

Re: Warm Up Enrichment - how much do you run at what temps?
Some ecu's implement WUE as an extension ow PW. so eg. at 10 deg C it's +1ms. Then it kinda scales with load and rpm - which seems to be better behavior.... as in at hither loads (larger PW's) less wue is needed while at low loads and idle (low PW) that extra pw length is larger in terms of percenta...

EMS Market Research
Hey guys... I've been looking around the web, particularity looking at well known commercial EMS, and trying to find out exactly what features they have and how the software looks like. Basically I'm trying to find out the in-depth details of other ems'es, particularly useful functions that could be...

Re: Engine Temperature Fuel Correction - how to do it?
Hi. Well.. in my limited knowledge... i think 2nd curve load vs correction would be good idea. it doesnt have to be full curve with 16 points.... i think maybe 4 points would be adequate. It seems that in low load areas more percentage WUE is needed. realistically it's difficult to obtain steady tun...

Re: Fixed point mathematics [now with POLL please vote]
i think that 0.1 resolution is all we need, and even that's i think should be optional... most people should be happy with 1% resolution. up to 127% would be just fine, provided you use 'multiply map feature' Multiply map feature is: you take the ve bin value (say 50%) and you multiply it by map val...

Re: Electronic valve control project
WOW, that is a seriously cool project :-) I strongly suspect that our cpu will not be sufficient for your needs unless you use 3 of them (one for intake, one for exhaust, one for engine control). How accurate do you need the timing of the valves to be? I imagine that it is a fairly fussy critical s...

Re: Electronic valve control project
Hm... yeah, i've been toying with this idea for a while. I came across this project on the internet, (cant remember the link), guy was experimented with small engines and electrically actuated valves. he actualy had several smal engines running with electric valves. I do not recall the details, but ...

Re: FreeEMS Goals discussion
Hm.... That was alot of reading. I concur regarding dropping legacy things such as narrowband o2. All though sequential injection is superior to batch injection, i think it wont be very hard to very hard to implement. Single pot engine will require proper operation in single injector/single spark pe...
