na the board is just too wide to fit even if I deepen the slots.
you don't need to take much off the board at all to get it to fit at an angle. but the regs do end up on a funny angle.
I may change the way they are heat sinked to the case. perhaps a tight fitting piece of ali that sits in a slot.

ISL9V5036P3 as per my last post.
they are an alternative to a bosch BIP373, but without the auto protection features that the BIP has.

its the LM1815 circuit that I thought would cause the problem.
I'll get some muck to put in the radiator to try fix that leak.
