Hello (back from the dead ) )
I've attached the kicad schema for the IGBT module (it is made to work with megasquirt 1 but i think it can be adapted).
Back to work ... much to do to our drag racing car, I'll be back!

Re: uROEFI
no, not yet, I was busy at work and didn't have time to work on the board anymore
when I have some time I will resume work and also change a few thing here and there.
Best regards,
Vladimir

Re: uROEFI
That is what i'm doing, I've listened to all the constructive advice from Fred, and I will do so in the future. I'm making the mainboard modular, so I can swap cpu boards when I can, and test new things, plus this is mainly for rally and drag racing, if something breaks on the field I rather replace...
Re: uROEFI
finished the annotation of the schematics, and I've been taking measures of BOSCH ECU PCBs, so far I have motronic mp5.2 laying around here and a VAG SIMOS module.
will be back with pictures when I will populate the PCB.

Re: uROEFI
Yes I know, that is why I've deleted the +12v feed from ecu to HALL , only the +5V to HALL will remain. In case the engine loom doesn't have a feed to HALL, I will simply feed it from +5v rail.
Best regards!

Re: uROEFI
that is out of the question, I've tested a +12v old hall sensor and it worked with +5v too, so I eliminated the voltage selection for hall sensor from my schematics
It will be fed with +5v from ecu.
It will be fed with +5v from ecu.
Re: uROEFI
Yes you are right, +12v switched is to power up the ECU, Launch input switch is on the clutch pedal, and it is feeded with +12v from the car's electric loom, it is normally open switch and only the clutch is pressed then it feeds +12v to the active high circuit, the same applies to the Table switchi...
Re: uROEFI
Hello Fred, Yes I know, I couldn't find MAX992X on Farnell, and nor on TME, they are the main suppliers in my country, if I was to order the IC from abroad I think the costs will be much higher. Meanwhile, I've modified the Hall input circuit and active high inputs for launch control and table shift...
Re: uROEFI
I've seen the Dan's RB25DET ecu schematics, he is using the MC74HC14AN hex inverter with schmitt trigger, interesting choice and good noise protection, but from what I'm reading on the datasheet it only supports input voltage of +5v +/-0.5v, it is ok with modern hall sensors because they work with +...
Re: uROEFI
If you are referring to max9926 IC for the rpm input, well that is out of the question, I did not find any supplier in my country that can provide that IC, I can use the LM1815 IC or opamps to do the job, TL082 jfet opamp datasheet http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/127138.pdf that is used in the sch...
