Why would megasquirt want to self destruct in this fashion?
Nice one though. Had me for exactly 1.2 seconds until I looked at the date.

Re: Always ON Power Design!
What I intended to convey was that the stuff INSIDE the ECU should be controlled by key and not by CPU. In the diagram there are 8 relays, in two banks. The two banks are: 1) is key switched and controls various power feeds to the ECU and accessories such as wideband etc 2) is ECU switched and cont...

Re: Ideas For High Side Drivers
Here are a few interesting high side driver components to consider: ST Microelectronics VN5E160ASTR-E, SMD SOIC-8 package http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/VN5E160ASTR-E/497-11684-1-ND/2746913 Infineon Technologies BTS6143D, SMD DPAK-5 package http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/BTS6143...

Re: Ideas For High Side Drivers
There are way too many flavors of single IC for this application. But this is my preference... I prefer a more primitive design for such a primitive task. I like to use a double P-FET and 1 N-FET configuration. I know it is clunky with so many components, but it is easily sourced and will never obso...

I'll only take 1 board if someone else need it.

New site for sharing schematic symbols - CircuitHub
This is a pretty cool concept. It looks like it is still a work in progress and still buggy. But it looks promising and the interface looks fantastic.

Re: FreeStim idea
Instead of 12 pots. How about 6 pots and 6 digipot and/or DACs? Preferably with I2C interface, so you can have multiple on the same control bus.

Re: Giving Jaguar the Acid Test
We can do the test with an enclosure if we have one designed. That would be ideal.

Re: Giving Jaguar the Acid Test
By having a spark from a BBQ ignition for the test, It is still useful even if we don't have a complete spec for the test. My initial thought was to hit various points on the board a few times and call it a day since the odds are low anyways. But if it turns out that the board is easily susceptible ...

Re: Giving Jaguar the Acid Test
I suggested a test that you didn't plan to include. I did all I was allowed to do before receiving the burden and useless award. I'd be glad to help. But it seem we have a big issue with communication and understanding. You already rejected the idea instead of putting it at the bottom of the queue. ...
