Re: teaser car 25

When minimum cooling is required, the BCM will command the PCM to energize cooling fan relay #1 and since both fans are connected in series through the Mode Control relay, both fans will operate at low speed. When maximum cooling is required, the BCM will command the PCM to energize all three cooli...

Re: teaser car 25

If by output pin you mean low side driver of an auto-FET type, no, in a powered down state the voltage into the gate of the FET will be low, and the FET will be "off" and conduct nothing That's what I get for asking my question confusingly. Your answer satisfies every part of my concern, ...

Re: teaser car 25

Of course, I couldn't even write it without having to rewrite it, then go back and add more. Here's the clear and concise question:

Does +12v going to an output pin on a board that is powered down hurt it?

Re: How Software Releases Should Be Done!

CI is off topic from a release standpoint excluding the fact that I use the CI as part of ensuring the test suite has passed. There may be a better way of doing it, but I use the CI to ensure release steps 4 and 5, and because there is no difference in test automation for me than what I use for pull...

The fuel priming duration should be 2 sec to be compliant with factory configuration. When the key is first turned ON, the PCM energizes the fuel pump rela...

Re: How Software Releases Should Be Done!

I'm using Travis to perform automated build tests which notify inside of our development chat. Github has hooks that allow the pull requests to have a comment from the continual integration service. It builds the environment and reports if the tests passed, failed, or erred. This allows the code rel...

That is a beautiful board. Love the easy to read layout, and the pin positions. I'm super excited how close it sounds to release.

Re: building a harness

I strongly suggest you focus on getting a running engine with exactly one board. I strongly agree. I agree, get it running on a single board, I'm not sure why you are wanting to run mulitple boards on one engine... I don't want to run 2 boards on a single engine. I want more features on a single bo...
