Re: 65 Mustang coupe to CNP & direct injected LPG (in progre

Talk about doing things out of order... Started working on the p&h drivers, but they will not be needed until much latter in the project. The jbperf.com peak and hold injector drivers arrived and I was rather surprised at the kit. Normally you get plans or some sort with instructions, with this ...

Re: How to drive an electric fan?

Been reading abit about MOSFET in order to understand whats going on http://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/transistor/tran_7.html When connecting 100K 2% 1/4 watt from Gate to Ground the MOSFET gets really hot and starts to conduct a limited amount of current, did not measure it but the fan was roughl...

Re: 65 Mustang coupe to CNP & direct injected LPG (in progre

Picked up this throttle body for a Ford AU V8. At this stage only wanted the TPS out of it, but latter might use the complete assembly. Any idea why there are two TPS? Mechanically they operate identically and they both have the same resistance range. http://mst.neven.info/var/thumbs/1337785173/IMG_...

Re: 65 Mustang coupe to CNP & direct injected LPG (in progre

Dizzy time! This is doing it the hard way. Should have just purchased an aftermarket part instead, oh well, committed now :? Here we have the SR20DE Dizzy striped down and the long shaft cut short, the outer housing of the shaft was also cut. You can see the mount flange that will connect the SR20DE...

Re: 65 Mustang coupe to CNP & direct injected LPG (in progre

Got the wide band o2 sensor installed. At the moments its running an analogue 5V gauge just so I can see an output. Have been told that mounting the sensor in the centre of the H cross over causes slow reaction times in the readings, making it harder to tune. http://mst.neven.info/var/resizes/133778...

Re: How to drive an electric fan?

Back from holiday  I got my hands on a few VNP35n07 MOSFET's as described and did some testing. It was hooked up in the following manner. Pin 1: + 5.5 Volt generated by a MC7805 for testing Pin 2: Fan's ground wire Pin 3: Ground As suggested I tied running a 100K then 200K resister between pin...
