By third party I meant the use of a 3rd party library within the application that i write. I have purchased a design suite that does the gauges, charts, grids etc but it's a licensed application. Its a per machine compile license, so I can compile it, but others will not be able to ( unless they pu...

RPM cut and others being always "on" personally won't affect me any. But I can feel for the others who would like a definitive and functional "off" feature so they don't have to have anything nagging in the back of their head about rollover errors (maybe putting limit to 32767.5...

There are two issues, heat is one, detonation is the other. In any case, with the two latter cases (large paragraphs) you can't be sure exactly where you'll end up (AFR wise), and therefore it could be in a bad place.
