the "safe" output pattern is ALWAYS 000, which places the trans into 5th.

how about traction control from comparing Accelerometer vs VSS ? or hell, even accelerometer VS RPM could potentially reveal wheelspin.

is your plan to use the base board and plug a freeems into the 40 pin for testing for this car, but eventually send it away with ms2 ? might be kind of interesting to have an adapter harness for a quick "unplug ms[123] from 2.2/3.0, plug freeems in" as well as offering your own shield board.
