i still think traction control based mostly on front / rear wheel speed sensors would be best. Could also easily be adapted to bikes, and most any car. Only variable needed would be front wheel diameter and rear wheel diameter. Base % slip on that.

Thats quite an interesting approach. Me and fred were talkin in IRC and its possible to use some sort of AVR solution. Possibly arduino or a teensy++.
