Re: FREEEMS hardware schematic and PCB
jharvey, Thank you for the comments on the power concern. You have the credit. I think we are not hurry to get the CPU board farbricated yet, since the main board is not done yet. Without the main board we hardly can do anything on it. Let me know beside the power issue whatelse you can think of tha...

Re: FREEEMS hardware schematic and PCB
Yes, I have looked some sources of PCB fabrication and PCBA as well. I think I have a pretty good ideal place to go for it with a minimum cost for the group. I will work out a costing sheet next time. - L

Re: FREEEMS hardware schematic and PCB
Board is done today. I will call it as Coreboard or CPUboard.
Here is the layout.
The next one I will work on is the main board (the sensor and control).
Cheers,

Re: FREEEMS hardware schematic and PCB
I guess I was not patient enough to keeping learning of the KiCAD, instead I use AD 2009. What I plan to do for this is to fibracate 50 boards for people who would like to order at my PCBA cost. The motive to doing this is that I was heard someone complains about the cost of a similar board from TA....

Re: PCB layout - JHarvey
No. I am not saying it's not organized. In fact it is. As an new comer it looks just like in wonderland. I guess what I am going to do is to get a TA 12XDP512M2 information and collecting the exsiting information for an adapter board requirement from this project. I have a question for you. Does thi...

Re: PCB layout - JHarvey
I think I went to the site (freeems.org) before, but it is down now. Would you check it for me? I guess the big problem for me is to gathering the information from the threats in order to keep me updated with your guys and further make sure what I will be doing is useful to the group. However, it wo...

Re: PCB layout - JHarvey
Hi, I am new to this group and I have followed what you're talking about for some degree not excatly in full scale of understanding, but I am interested in the Xgate. I would image if we have a hardware ready to run and cope with the software development and tweaking and that will draw more interest...

FREEEMS hardware schematic and PCB
Hi All, Fred told me to contact Gearhead for creating a dev board with CPU straight on it. Can anyone point me the schematic either in Orcad /Altium Designer or pdf that I can start to produce what this group need. I have spare resource for that now. If the schematic is reviewed and checked then we ...
