I would love to help out and brush up on python (i have never done anything serious with python) - let me know what you have in mind and i'll see if i can do anything about it. The next 2-3 weeks are going to be hectic for me - so i might be a little sluggish in responding......

Hey, Can you do a source tarball or something - i dont want to mess around with git and it will be nice to have one convenient source packet to download instead of multiple files....

That's odd - for me it installs right out of desktop - i just tried it in a different computer and it works there too..... Looking at your error msgs - it seems wxpython is somehow not installing properly .... it cant find its core dll... Can you uninstall everything and do a clean install..... Also...

I downloaded 2.6 because that's the latest version that can work with wxpython and pywin32....
For 2.5 - wxpython 2.5 compatible and pywin32 2.5 compatible should be used....
Python latest release is 3.0 or something like that.....

The speed cameras operate at IR frequency - so they can "see" at night without need for bright lights. I think mythbusters did an episode on this and tried the LED idea but they were trying to beat the laser gun and didnt focus the leds on the plate itself.....
